The West Valley Arts Council is now accepting 2015 Champion of the Arts nominations. Two awards will be presented, with nominees being accepted for business leaders, organizations, companies and individuals.
The WVAC is seeking nominations that recognize outstanding business leaders, organizations, companies and individuals who through their commitment and dedication to supporting and growing the arts in the West Valley have helped the West Valley grow as a vibrant and connected arts and cultural community.
Nomination forms are due by noon January 30, 2015 to the WVAC office. They can be mailed to 13243 N Founders Park Blvd, Surprise, AZ 85379, or emailed to email@example.com. Nomination forms are available online at www.westvalleyarts.org.
The 2015 winners and their nominator will each receive a ticket with the winner being recognized at this year’s 22nd annual Diamond Ball Gala to be held March 7 at the Wigwam Hotel and Resort in Litchfield Park.
For more than 10 years, the WVAC has presented Champion of the Arts Awards to those who have impacted the arts community in the West Valley through projects and/or programs that have made substantial contribution to the arts.
“We appreciate and value the community’s input, said Bernadette Mills, executive director for WVAC. “It is important we celebrate and recognize those who are working hard and giving so much of their time, talent, and passion to ensure the West Valley grows as a strong arts and cultural community.”
