  • Delight in an evening of jazz and swing music with, Arizona ´s first all-pro orchestra. This performance pays homage to the musical kings of the 1930's and 40's with one night of toe-tapping music and swing dancing. Relive the era of Duke Ellington, Bennie Goodman, Artie Shaw, Count Basie and more! Under the direction of seasoned trumpeter Fred Forney, the 17-piece big band promises stellar arrangements and memorable harmonies by the Valley´s finest jazz musicians and soloists.

  • Full of music, dance, and comedy, this Mexican-flavored tale of a shepherds’ pilgrimage to see baby Jesus is steeped in centuries-old traditions and surges with messages of hope and brotherhood—a perfect reminder of what the holiday season is all about. Valley artist Zarco Gurrero stars as El Diablo in this new adaptation of the famous biblical story. The evening includes an outdoor mercado with local vendors from the Calaca Cultural Center and the Phoenix Fridas selling arts and crafts.

  • The New York Times raves "What Mr. Rowland dispenses should be sold at drugstores!" Valley favorite Dennis Rowland performs one night of unforgettable music with his Extreme Decibel Band. From 1977 to 1984, Rowland toured the world with the Count Basie Orchestra, sharing the stage with Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Tony Bennett. His rich and creamy baritone voice compliments jazz standards and contemporary tunes with dexterous spontaneity.

  • Ole! Savor the passion of Spain with a soul stirring evening of music by Valley flamenco guitar virtuoso Chris Burton Jácome. When not performing solo, Jácome can be found on stage with CALO FLAMENCO: Ballet de Martín Gaxiola, the largest flamenco group in the United States. He has studied with the greatest flamenco performers in the world. His intoxicating melodies and flawless technique can be heard on the Emmy Award Winning PBS television special: "Flamenco."

This year's theme "Fiesta de Estrella " includes classics like Copland's El Salon Mexico, Gershwin's Mexican Dance, and other South-of-the-border festive favorites.

By Saturday, they´ve gained character-the kind that really counts. Complete with professionally designed scenery and costumes, the performance is a culmination of a week-long residency led by the internationally acclaimed troupe.
